A New Year
Monday, January 3rd, 2011What a way to bring the new year in! We were so tired from the home demolition we started on Friday that we all were fast asleep way before the ball dropped. Replacing floor because of a leaky hot-water heater was not the way we had planned to spend our new year’s eve, but it had to be done!
It was a good experience for us, we learned a few things about ourselves and each other… For instance: I found out that I am a better carpenter than Shawn :0 Sure he can sling a hammer harder than me but that’s not all it takes! I guess growing up with my brother as a carpenter taught me a few tricks.
Starting on our long list of home repairs has really got me in the mood for some remodeling. Like fresh paint in the Kitchen and a new look for our guest bathroom, and finishing the deck around the pool. The list goes on and on, I can not wait to see what this year has in-store for everyone! I will be working hard to complete my 101 in 1001 this year and looking forward to all the new experiences to come.
Happy New Year!
