Learning the ins and outs of owning, operating, and growing a business is a tricky thing. “Stay True” is what I keep telling myself. Or “I can not do this.” Or on a good day “I am the bomb!” (very rare) I have owned this book for a while, and I think I have been scared to read it because I know I should follow it in some way or another. It is called Ignore Everybody. Here are a few snippets from the book;

“There’s a word for what happens to people like you: Nothing.” —– That is a little harsh!

“Conversation: a useful device mostly to find out how much somebody is paying for their apartment”  —– I can see that happening.

“How dare you love me… I must punish you…” —– My poor husband! He gets punished every day!

And last but not least ” Doing anything worthwhile takes forever. Ninety percent of what separates successful people and failed people is time, effort, and stamina.”

 Ignore Everybody by: Hugh Macleod is not a book for everyone. It has some ‘not so nice’ language in it, but if you can get past that you will definitely get something out of it!
